Arcade Fire: Intervention (Live at Canterbury High, Ottawa)

The Arcade Fire played a special show at a Canadian High School on Friday Night. Doesn't this just make you even more excited for Neon Bible? and a tour (PLEASE). via Pitchfork.

Can't wait for Neon Bible to be released. And a tour would be fantastic! You can hear another song from it "Black Mirror" at www.neonbible.com - it is very good too.

Who isn't waiting for this album? Surely the most anticipated of the year (and from what has surfaced already, bound to reach greatness)

I really hope they play larger venues than that though if they tour here. Or at least somewhere where the acoustics are much fuller. With such a large band, they will need a larger venue to accentuate each of the sounds.

Hey - nice site, I visit daily now (have done for a couple of weeks).

I pre-ordered Neon Bible from Merge today - I am going for the Deluxe edition which sounds great, with hinged bindings and 2 32-page flip booklets, etc. And it was only $25 AUD including postage!

-Black Mirror is very good, I have heard Ocean of Noise which is great also. Intervention is still my favourite so far.

James-I'm sure if they decide to tour here, they will play an enmore theatre type venue. Also I am sure it would sell out easily.

Adam- thanks for reading, hope I can hold your interest. I was looking at the Deluxe Edition too, wonder if it will be on sale here. Probably best to order from Merge, plus I find them good to deal with.

    Wayne,

No probs - your posts thus far that I have read (including archives) are interesting for sure...I visit a number of blogs each day, yours is one of the ones I make sure I don't miss.

I am sure Neon Bible will be released in Deluxe edition here, but I want to support Merge and order through them - they were great to deal with an prompt with delivery when Spoon's Gimme Fiction was released, plus they through in the bonus EP for free, with plenty of stickers and some badges, etc.

Merge reckon they are going to include some extras for any pre-orders of the deluxe NB album, so there's your incentive.
